OUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS

JVS Mobile Valeting Service prides itself on providing the highest customer service.

PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING

BOOKING CONDITIONS

Customers should remove all personal belongings, money and other significant items from their vehicle prior to any type of valet.
JVS Mobile Valeting will not accept liability for any loss or damage to personal belongings left in a vehicle whilst it is being valeted
We cannot guarantee any firm times when accepting your booking. Sometimes the valet before runs over allotted time.
Our valeting times are an estimate only. Each vehicle is different and may require more or less time to fulfil the valet type
Whilst every effort will be made to keep regular bookings to the same day and time each week, sometimes it may be necessary to make changes but we will endeavour to communicate the changes prior to the appointment.
We reserve the right to take a debit or credit card details to secure the booking
We reserve the right to alter or move a booking in line with weather conditions and /or machinery or equipment failure.
All vehicles are cleaned and valeted at the customer’s own risk.
JVS Mobile Valeting reserves the right to refuse or deny any booking or continue with their service if they deem the customer to be unreasonable.
JVS Mobile Valeting reserves the right to refuse or deny customer demands above and beyond the booked valet.
JVS Mobile Valeting will not tolerate any verbal or physical abuse towards the valeter under any circumstances and will take the relevant actions should any such behaviours be encountered.

PRICING

JVS Mobile Valeting reserve the right to charge an hourly rate of £20.00 (or proportion thereof) for any work that is not within the boundaries of the booking
Our prices are based on valet type & type of car. Any price we quote over the telephone is an estimate only and should be used as a guide and not a guarantee
JVS Mobile Valeting reserves the right to charge each vehicle according to its condition, the type of vehicle and the customer location.
JVS Mobile Valeting reserves the right to amend any price during the valet should it differ from the original estimate
Any service may be asked to be secured with a debit or credit card prior to arrival of the valeter (see cancellation policy).
There is a minimum call out of £20.

PAYMENTS AND GIFT CERTIFICATES

Payments can be made via Cash, Bank Transfer, PayPal & Credit/Debit Cards.
Credit Card and PayPal transactions incur a 3% surcharge
Payments are due on the day of work completed unless otherwise stated
Invoices (For Account Holders) are due on date of issue, after 14 days a £10 late payment fee will be applied and every 7 days thereafter.
JVS Mobile Valeting will provide Gift Certificates when requested.
Payments must be received and cleared before a Gift Certificate will be issued.
Gift Certificates may be used as full or part payment for any of JVS Mobile Valeting services.
Any difference in value between Gift Certificate tendered and services supplied must be paid on the date of valet.
Gift Certificates are usually valid 6 months from date of issue, or in any event only until the expiration date on the Gift Certificate. If the Gift Certificate expires before the valet is completed, no refund will be given.
The Gift Certificate has no monetary value.
Gift Certificates must be valid and presented to the Company on the date of valeting.

SERVICES AND LOCATIONS OF SERVICES

Sometimes we may ask you where you heard about JVS Mobile Valeting in order to record on our marketing system.
JVS Mobile Valeting has public liability insurance.
JVS Mobile Valeting is fully insured against any damages that may have been caused by us whilst being valeted by us.
JVS Mobile Valeing will not be held responsible for any damage to your vehicle arising from ill fitting trim, loose or faulty parts, door mirrors held on with tape, etc. Please ensure you make us aware of any potential problems before we start the valet
In the interest of safety, Local Councils and insurers forbid valeting vehicles in certain areas that may be hazardous. These can include some public roads, in public car parks, on construction sites and on oil or gas installations. It is therefore the customer’s responsibility to check areas for safety, and valets will not be carried out should we consider that any area of work is unsafe.
It is the customers responsibility to remove any child seat prior to the valet, and it is their responsibility to replace to child seat.

CANCELLATION CONDITIONS

We require 48 hours notice to cancel any booking /valet type.
Failure to provide 48 hours notice will result in a minimum charge of 50% of the valet price.
JVS Mobile Valeting reserve the right to invoice for full payment if a valet is cancelled on the day without prior agreement.
JVS Mobile Valeting reserves the right to alter or amend a booking time/date without penalty but wherever possible will let the customer know.
JVS Mobile Valeting reserve the right to alter a booking or move a booking in accordance to weather conditions and/or equipment failure without penalty to the company.

SOCIAL MEDIA COMPETITIONS

Applicants must live within a 15 mile radius of us at Leyland, PR25 1GX.
Anyone outside the 15 mile radius may incur charges.
Only entries on the original page post/picture will be included in the competition.
Only entries that follow all criteria listed on the original post will be included in the competition.
All competitions will be drawn using online selector after the competition end.
We may take photos of you and/or your vehicle when receiving your prize to share on social media.
Any entries deemed unfit for the public eye may be cancelled by us. This includes bad language, cyber bullying and any other obscenity.
These terms and conditions apply to all competitions unless otherwise stated on the original competition post itself.
